You can use the ADMT (active directory migration tool) and migrate
everything seamlessly and operate both accounts at the same time nobody
will have to know that they are on a different server, this technique is
customizable and works very well we use it all the time.

Subject: [exchangelist] Migration

Dear Sir

This is the third time to send this message because in error in the
subject.

My problem is briefed in the following:
I am working now in our company with MS Exchange Server 5.5, and we
installed a new Exchange server 2000 with a new domain. I want to make a
transition time for migration. During this transition time, i want the
server 5.5 to send an automatic reply to all messages received (destined
to my domain i.e *@mydomain.com) to tell the sender that this mailbox
will
be changed.
Can i configure the server to do that?
