1) ExMerge is supported by Microsoft
2) Yes, it works very well for the task you describe.
3) Yes, you can essentially schedule any Windows application to run
with the scheduler service and/or a script. Furthermore, ExMerge is no
exception so read the ExMerge readme doc included with the download or
available through MS download.  Basically, you customize the exmerge
ini file.
