relaying and routing

Good morning,

I have two questions about the difference between Exchange 5.5 and
Exchange 2003.
1. In 5.5 there is a setting in the IMC-properties which makes it possible
to prevent relaying by adding ip-addresses which are allowed to send mail,
so all other ip-addresses are not allowed to send mail, that's good.
I wonder where the same setting is in Exchange 2003?
2. Also in the IMC-properties is a TAB about routing, that makes it
possible to configure inbound mail or send mail to a subdomain in another
environment.
Where is the same in Exchange 2003? Or is it just handled by DNS?

Thanks in advance.

John
