John,
You can keep the re-direct at the default web site or use a script to
redirect inside of the custom error message. Make all the virtual
folders under the default web site require SSL. There is a really nice
site on how to do this at MSexchange.org

Hi,
We are using Exchange Server 2003 enterprise edition on a W2K3-server
and using OWA.
Just created certificate and before installing it I want to do this:
Redirect http://mailserver.domain.com/exchange to
https://mailserver.domain.com <https://mailserver.domain.com/>
What do I have to do in the configuration of IIS to do that?
