You need to use the MDBVU32 tool to delete the item. It is available in
the Exchange tools folder of service pack. There is also a document on
how to use it.

Subject: [exchangelist] permission on a particular e-mail???

I have a user who has a e-mail stuck in his inbox folder. When we try
to do an operation on it (read, delete, ...), we got an error message
saying "Can't open this item. You do not have sufficient permission to
perform this operation on this object. Se the folder contact or your
system administrator".
How can I delete this item from my user's inbox?
BTW, we are running Exchange 2000 as the mail server and Outlook 2003 as
the client.
