No you directly. Do not bother to post unless you actually plan on informing people of what you have or havent done thus far. It is utterly worthless to myself and is no help to anyone else. Nobody wants to do your job for you... ________________________________ From: Carl Houseman [mailto:c.houseman@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Mon 2/13/2006 7:00 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: need solution http://www.MSExchange.org/ So now that you're sober, were in you fact talking to the OP and not me with that post? ________________________________ From: Devin McBride [mailto:devin@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 9:17 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: need solution http://www.MSExchange.org/ As I have said in the past...if you want help, do research beforehand and post what you have found, what steps you went through and what hasn't worked thus far. And yes, saying 'google the error code' is valid because it comes up with tons of information for both errors. If it doesn't help, fine...at least make us privy to what you have done so far so we don't waste our own time. ________________________________ From: Carl Houseman [mailto:c.houseman@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, February 12, 2006 11:47 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: need solution http://www.MSExchange.org/ Put away the computer when drinking please. If I had said "just google the error code" you c/would have made the same criticism. And I don't need to do research to know that eventid.net is the best place to take an event-ID and event-source. Did YOU do the research by actually looking at the results given by eventid.net for that ID ? I bet not. Before being critical of another's answer, it's best to actually try the answer to see if it might solve the problem. As for wasting your time, you wasted far more of it composing your reply. If the OP uses my answer, he will find his time was not wasted. ________________________________ From: Devin McBride [mailto:devin@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 1:51 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: need solution Carl, Forgive me if I am way off base as I hgave been drinking a bit too much tonight but did you do any research on your own in the least?? A simple search on google returns: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=error+1053 http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=error+13508 perhaps it would be helpful if you actually put some of your own energy into this rather than waste our time?
