The Exch2k server does not need to be a DC. To be a Global Catalog server a
server needs to be a DC though, so you'll need to make one of your other
machines a GC server (the first one you made a DC already is one) as
Exchange needs the GC available.

Subject: [exchangelist] installing E2K as a member server

There isn't any documentation on any of this, but I have 2 W2K domain
ctrllrs
already in place, I installed W2K on a 3rd server, but have not installed AD

yet as I want to use the Global Catalog Server. Can this be done or do I
have
to install AD on this server to install E2K? Thanks

Jeff
