Yes you can remove exchange, but why would you.

All you need to do is run the connect to the Internet wizard in the
server management console and all will be configured correctly.

Stop the argosoft server, run the wizard with the same domain details as
the argosoft server and it'll work magically.

I cannot give up the argosoft mail server software because that is where
our internet mail comes to and goes from. it has been working fine and
we can't be without email service while i wait and try to figure out
exchange to work as internet email.

should i not run a 3rd party mail server software on the same server as
exchange?

can i remove exchange from sbs, it seems like nothing but trouble...
users have to worry about disk size quotas, etc. it makes them mad
