excessive outbound messages

I am running exchange 5.5 with service pack 4, on windows NT 4.0. I have
installed all the patches released by microsoft especially during the code
red worm attack. Problem is my server is generating random messages and
sending them to various sites including yahoo.com, I have received various
warnings that I should secure my server from attacked servers. This
morning I have deleted over 9000 outbound mails! What could be the
problem, PLEASE I NEED URGENT HELP.
