You do not have to create another account since if you send a mail to that account it will stay in that mailbox. You have to create a contact and forward all the mails to the contact. -----Original Message----- From: Omppu [mailto:Omppu@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 14, 2002 12:26 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] email forwarding http://www.MSExchange.org/ hello ive raised this issue earlier but in vain... i have an account on my exchange 2000 (the exchange is installed under bogus.net domain and it hosts a number of other domains e.g. dumb.net domain all accounts have aliases in all domains) now for particular users e.g. donald.duck@xxxxxxxx i would like to forward all incomming mail to that address to frogi@xxxxxxxxxxx i have created another local acchout for donald.duck (the second account is donald.forward) with an smtp address frogi@xxxxxxxxxxx and i have selected from the primary account donald.duck@xxxxxxxx to forward to donald.forward (which has the smtp address frogi@xxxxxxxxxxx) from the golbal settings ive made sure that i have "allow automatic forward" enabled but yet the mail does not get forwarded to frogi@xxxxxxxxxxx what am i doing wrong here?? and how can i get it to work? regards O. ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: robert@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') **************************************************************** This mail was content checked for malicious code or viruses by Mail security.
