compacting edb files

hi all,
I got 12 GB for PRIV.EDB. I wanna compacting this PRIV.EDB. So, I used
d:>\eseutil /d /ispriv
After about 10%, I got Dr. Watson pop up with message:
eseutil.exe
exception :access violation (0xc0000005) address : 06ff31802
I search MS technet and do not found any solution.
Does anybody know to fix this?
My system:
NT 4.0 and SP6a
Exchange 5.5 with SP4
