Could be a "Cached Credentials" issue on the remote machine, was it joined
to the domain on the LAN where the server resides before it became a remote
machine?

Check your settings for your email account and make sure it's pointing at
the correct server and is using the correct user name. If the Check Name
box is not greyed out, use it to verify it can hit the account.

After that , I write logon name (domainname\logonname), password - I
authorization and check new messages.
