Make sure you have full connectivity - Exchange boxes, DCs and GCs (if
different) using both DNS and WINS (I know it is little used but it can
have an effect on certain aspects). Also make sure you are fully aware
of what accounts you will use and what permissions are required to do
the job. And finally and most importantly, ensure you test it first on s
test system, and ensure you have full backups to regress to.

We are in same boat (testing phase ion development system) and are
ensuring we test and document at each stage.

Good luck.

Does anyone have any whitepapers for upgrading 2000 to 2003? Anyone know
any prerequisites before starting an upgrade? I have exchange 2000
enterprise and moving to 2K3 enterprise and just want to see if anyone
has any advice before I start and get surprised by something...
