Microsoft confirms this to be a problem. 1. So I would uninstall RAS and the modem. Shut down the server and remove the modem from this box. 2. If needed, I would add another modem and install that. 3. After RAS gets installed again, I would apply SP6a and reboot. 4. Appy Exch SP4 and reboot. I think this should solve the problem. I am running service pack 6a. The SP 4 was of exchange 5.5. I updated this pack 2 weeks before. I read that document before and than applied serivce pack 6a.But it did not resolved the problem.
