In our network, we have many VPN's setup, all controlled by the
firewall(s). I only allow services(SMTP) I specify, by adx's I specify
to pass through, anything else is blocked. Also, these tunnels are
encryptable to 128bit.
Talk to your Firewall admin (I hope you have a firewall).
