That should happen automatically as long as the two servers are in the same organization. Make sure that when you move mailboxes the end users Outlook sessions are closed. I moved approx. 1500 mailboxes and we had some minor issues. In some cases we had to delete the existing profile for the user and recreate it. This is one thing that MS has made very simple. We use Exchange Corporate email as the installation for our client machines. We are anticipating moving the mailboxes from one server to another that has a different name. Does anyone know how we could add something to the login scripts of our clients that would automatically change the name of the Exchange server in their Outlook client properties on each user's computer? Any help would be appreciated.
