New mail....as I said, all the usual stuff has been done.....it's a pita
Are you sending new mail, or replying to old mail? (Sorry, had to ask, cause that could result in a similar message)
Can you walk down to that container and see anything?
What happens if you try to send from OWA rather than Outlook? Could that address be stored in a contact in Outlook, or maybe cached? Is it just you, or do several people have the issue? And when you refer to his new server, what does that mean? In a different Org? Or what?

Both those lines error out...
Has AD replication had a chance to fully complete?
Something like this should locate the object:
Dsquery * forestroot –filter “proxyaddresses=smtp:timbomatic@xxxxxxxxxx”
Dsquery * forestroot –filter “mail=timbomatic@xxxxxxxxxx”
I deleted one of my users mailboxes from exchange 2007 and from aduc. He is using the same email address on his new server but when I try to send mail from exchange I receive the error below. Obviously the email address is still hovering about within exchange. How do I locate it & remove it for good?
All the usual steps have been carried out, ie deleting the nickname etc.
