SBS's ISA is meant to be used together with the rest of the package. I know it's less secure, but sometimes you can't always get what you want ;) Tiago de Aviz SoftSell - Curitiba (41) 340-2363 www.softsell.com.br Esta mensagem, incluindo seus anexos, tem caráter confidencial e seu conteúdo é restrito ao destinatário da mensagem. I was just merely pointing out the fact that Abdalla should have his network setup correctly before attempting that he's doing it. :) Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Steve Moffat [mailto:steve@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2005 12:49 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: SBS 2003 website cannot be accessed internally http://www.MSExchange.org/ You've done it again Andrew...it's an SBS box... Also make sure DNS is configured correctly on your DC, because your users should be able to get access to your company's websites if it is. This is not a ISA problem but a DNS issue. Andrew -----Original Message----- From: Abdalla Ziraba [mailto:abdalla@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2005 4:19 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] SBS 2003 website cannot be accessed internally http://www.MSExchange.org/ Help!! I have just installed a SBS 2003 + ISA server on our network. All's well except all users cannot access our website [www.xyz.co.ke]. The website can be accessed from outside the network. The server's FQDN is abc.xyz.co.ke, the domain is local xyz.co.ke registered by a local ISP. The website is however being hosted elsewhere [some place in India]. What do I need to do to get all users to access this site? Any help will be appreciated Abdalla ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: andrew@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSEXchange.org Discussion List as: ExchangeMailingList@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx This E-Mail is confidential.
