Public Folder Permissions most of the times are a pain in the
neck....you have to give individual rights for individual folders
because by default are not inherited. I mean it is not enough to give
permissions to a folder but also you should give permission to all
parent folders up to root public folder.

I suggest take a look to exchange permission manager tool.....it saves
me a lot of work managing permissions on public folders.

Shouldnt you be able to assign permissions to a public folder using a
distribution list? I am working with the permissions on our Exchange
2k3 box and right now everyone has individual rights which is a pain. I
changed to the distribution list but now the folder is no longer visible
to the people in the list. What am I doing wrong?
