Subject: [exchangelist] Outlook Inbox Quirks

Environment: Outlook 2000 and Exchange 5.5 SP4 mailbox

An executive opens his Inbox in Outlook and expands his folder view. He
highlights his Inbox and in the Message View Pane it displays that 7
individual messages, 2 unread exist in the Inbox. But looking below the
Outlook Bar is reports that there are 13 messages with 2 unread. There are
no filters applied on this folder, and he wants me to find the other 6
messages as he is worried that he is losing mail.

Anyone seen this before?
