You can create a folder shortcut in the Shortcuts section of OL 2003, that
will open Explorer to the desired folder when clicked.

But having an Explorer-like view of files from the OL application is not
something it's been designed to do.

OTOH, you can store files in your mail storage - drag and drop one into a
mail folder and watch what happens. Not necessarily recommended but it can
be done.

Subject: [ExchangeList] Outlook 2003 / My documents view (left pane)

Hi there !

One of my users came to me with a good idea and I'd like to see if it's
possible.

He'd like to have a view of his "my documents" folder (or c:\ drive, etc...)
in the left hand pane of the Outlook 2003 client. Does anybody have an idea
of how to do this ?

thanks,

Vincent
