Old email resent after reboot

I have a strange issue that I do not even know where to start with. I
rebooted our Windows Server 2000/Exchange 2003 Server Saturday night,
November 13th. An email sent Monday, October 11, 2004 4:30 PM was resent
after the reboot. This happened before after a reboot and I was wondering
if anyone could put some light on where these emails are "hiding."
