OWA ask For Password

Hi ,
We have a 3 MB Fire Link. We have two offices and are using Exchange 2000
Server with SP3. The problem which we are facing is that when the users
try to access their mails thru OWA of the old office it asks for password
again and again and after some attempts it gives as error access denied.
This problem has become very frequent. Please help me solve this issue.
