Do you mean the client certificate?

Also to add on, try removing the certificate and see it the client can
connect.

Pretty sure a 401 is a permissions issue, which would mean they are
actually connecting but getting denied access to the mailbox.

However, whenever you're talking about ISA and a front-end problem, the
first thing I always look at is if there's a certificate issue of some
sort.

Basic questions to investigate:
1. Is it just the one guy failing, or does everyone fail? Can any
devices connect?
2. Was the device able to conenct before your changes? After your
changes? Did it stop working only after your fix went in?
3. He didn't happen to change his network password recently, did he?
perhaps his saved password on the device is just wrong?

Yes,

What is the problem you are experiencing?

Thanks

I found my problem and OWA is working again. The ActiveSync rule messed
up the SSL listener authentication for OWA.

Has anyone have Exchange ActiveSync working with OWA with ISA 2006?

A problem started this weekend where my OWA users are being prompted to
change their network password even if it is not ready to expire. After
they change their password successfully they are denied access. I can
use OWA inside the network without any trouble and I not get the change
password screen. I do not have a copy of the denied access screen, will
try to get one tonight.

Last week I was making changes to Exchange and ISA to give access to OMA
and Exchange ActiveSync. How would this have caused the change password
screen to be presented to the OWA users.
