Exchange is going to require NT authentication, regardless. UserB either needs to log in to the workstation (Domain) or continue to be prompted for a password. -----Original Message----- From: Nef Perez [mailto:nperez@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 11:33 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Multiple Outlook Users http://www.MSExchange.org/ Sonny, That is correct. UserB is trying to access his emails via Outlook while UserA is logged on to the workstation. I have gotten around this, somewhat, by going to the Outlook profile settings, configuring the authentication method to none for UserB. However, I get prompted for the password. You know a way around that? Thanks! -N -----Original Message----- From: Sonny Willis [mailto:SWillis@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 12:26 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Multiple Outlook Users http://www.MSExchange.org/ Is UserB actually logging on to the workstation, or is he trying to open Outlook while UserA is logged on? -----Original Message----- From: Nef Perez [mailto:nperez@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 10:03 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Multiple Outlook Users http://www.MSExchange.org/ Raj, Thanks! That worked. However, there's one slight problem, it always prompts me for the password for "userB" when I open Outlook. Anyway around this? -N -----Original Message----- From: Periyasamy, Raj [mailto:Raj.Periyasamy@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 10:09 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Multiple Outlook Users http://www.MSExchange.org/ In the Outlook profile settings, configure the authentication method to none for User UserB profile. And configure the profile to "Prompt for a profile" instead of "alyways use this profile option". That way ehn you open Outlook teh user can select the profile, and UserB can authenticate with UserB credentials to Outlook. However it won't let me in, it says "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to display the selected folder or item. You don't have permission to log in." Anyone know how to "fix" this?
