I tried the delegate option, but the user wasn't even in the list. I looked though Google Groups and came across this MS KB which resolved the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;253557 -Devon ________________________________ From: Raji Arulambalam [mailto:RajiA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, May 01, 2005 6:32 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Meeting Request generates NDR http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi Try this, but first find out who the sender is and if they had that unknown user as a delegate. 1. In Outlook, when you are using the mailbox where the delegate was previously established, click Options on the Tools menu, and then click Delegates. 2. Click Add, select another user in the Global Address List if the original delegate has been removed. Try to establish the same permissions that were previously used, if you know what they are. Then, click OK. 3. Click OK to close the Options dialog box. 4. Restart Outlook. 5. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Delegates. 6. Click the delegate that you had re-added, click Remove, and then click OK to close the Options dialog box. 7. Restart Outlook. 8. Get someone to send you a meeting request. See if they receive an error. --------------------------------------------- Raji Arulambalam Senior Systems Administrator Environment Bay of Plenty - Regional Council 5 Quay Street, P O Box 364, Whakatane, New Zealand Telephone: 0800 ENV BOP (368 267) Facsimile: 0800 ENV FAX (368 329) Auto Attendant: 0800 ENV AUTO (368 288) Extension: 9272 Direct: 07 9223365 Website: www.envbop.govt.nz Working with our communities for a better environment -------------------------------------------- ________________________________ From: Harding, Devon [mailto:dharding@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Saturday, 30 April 2005 2:51 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Meeting Request generates NDR http://www.MSExchange.org/ When I accept a meeting request in Outlook (or OWA 2003) and send a response, I get an undeliverable for a recipient that is no longer in the organization.
