Check your Virus Scanner is up to date. Some viruses hook into MAPISP32.exe to send email. It might be a long shot however, as I cant imagine why this would happen only for excel files. -----Original Message----- From: Lorie Gordon [mailto:lgordon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, 11 September 2002 1:50 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] Mapisp32.exe http://www.MSExchange.org/ My users are all having problems opening Excel attachments. I don't know what is causing this and I need your help. This is what I have discovered thus far: When I look at the processes running on the client PC- Mapisp32.exe is using a lot of memory. If I kill the process than the attachment opens. What is causing this and how can I fix it? Thanks in Advance, Lorie ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: greg@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
