Managing Distribution List in E2K

Created a distribution group with someone designated in the Managed By
tab. This person is not allowed to change membership of this group
through the Outlook client as was formerly allowed in Exchange 5.5 when
owner was designated. The following message is received:
Changes to the distribution list membership could not be saved. You do
not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object.
Any assistance with finding a way to allow individuals to perform this
function would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
