OK, I used AD(Users&Computers), went to the Exchange Advanced tab and then
clicked 'Mailbox Rights.' In there I added the user that I wanted to have
control of that mailbox and gave him 'full control' Supposedly, when this
user now sends a message he can select where it's coming from; either his
own personal account or this newly acquired account which I'd given him
access to. This is typically done in Outlook, by selecting the 'Show From
Field' under the 'View' menu selection.
The problem though, is that he can send a message from ANYONE listed in the
GAL.

can you specify how, where and what utilities you used, the rights you granted and also the messages that system displayed when you gave that person rights over other user's mailbox
