Sure it could. But that's harder. The script would have to be modified to use OpenDSObject() instead of a simple GetObject() and to explicitly specify the DCs to use. Actually, if these multiple domains are in the same forest and you are running it from the forest root domain, under an Enterprise Admin account, you wouldn't have to use OpenDSObject(). But you would have to specify each of the DCs to use. -----Original Message----- From: Harding, Devon [mailto:dharding@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 10:37 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Information Store size? http://www.MSExchange.org/ So I guess this wouldn't even work with multiple domains, which is what we have. -----Original Message----- From: Lara, Greg [mailto:GLara@xxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, October 12, 2004 3:11 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Information Store size? http://www.MSExchange.org/ I don't know if the script Mike pointed us to requires elevated access or not, but it would help with not knowing the path. If you do have the access, you could do a generic search: dir \\servername\d$\*.edb /s. Slightly faster would be to use psexec (from sysinternals.com) to run the dir command, but again, that requires access. BTW, my "method" only tells you the actual disk space used by the .edb files, it doesn't give you the combined .edb and .stm size, which is how Exchange calculates total database size. At a command prompt, run: dir \\servername\d$\exchsrvr\mdbdata\*.edb. Use the appropriate admin drive share as it pertains to your installation, and if enabled.
