Hi guys,

We had setup long time ago a Reverse DNS lookup setting on exchange 2000
server. We were facing problems from many vendors/bussiness associates to
get the emails because they haven't any ptr record for their email server
ip address. We needed to take out this property. I went to the Exchange
enterprise manager and on the virtul smpt server setting unchecked the box
for do reverse lookup on incoming messages then restarted the server. Now
its two days but still have problems to get the email from those email
servers who haven't any PTR record. One of the company set up the ptr
record and we are getting their emails. How i can check that my server is
still doing the reverse lookup and where i can find that property to make
it disable.

I will really appreciate any bit help.

Basit
