HELP - SMTP Queues - Dates 50 days old

Hi All,

I am encountering a strange problem that, at first blush, didn't seem bad but
now it is starting to affect our sending of mail. I have noticed over the last
couple of days that I would get a "build-up" of email from Postmaster being
sent out as "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". The "Date of Submission"
of these would be 50 days in the past. Now, today, we are having some (most
ARE being sent) of our "real" email that are in the queues and are not being
delivered.... Reason is "Connection was dropped by the Remote Host" ...
although there is one that "Unable to Bind to the Destination Server in DNS".
The destination domains of these emails are very common ones that we send to
all the time. ALL of these emails have a "Date of Submission" of
8/20/2003..... 50 days in the past. The date in the mail server is today.
HELP!!!!

Thanks,
Kelli

Come again?
Contacts, or more specifically mail-enabled contacts are stored in the
Active Directory.

Does that help?
