http://www.msexchange.org -------------------------------------------------------This is what I have, I think you are missing the CN=Folder Hierachies. CN=Public Folders,CN=Folder Hierarchies,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=MSexchange911,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=Msexchange911,DC=net -----Original Message----- From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Danny Sent: Thursday, August 03, 2006 11:28 AM To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ExchangeList] Re: Exchange 2003 SP2 Public folder tree empty http://www.msexchange.org -------------------------------------------------------Thanks for your assistance. An update, when I attempt to replace the current MsExchOwningPFTree: CN=Public Folders,CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=SRV01,CN=Servers,CN=corp,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=corp,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=DOM,DC=corp,DC=com With: CN=Public Folders,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=corp,DC=com Is not accepted by the ADSIedit.msc interface. When I use the current and paste it into the MSExchpftree, I see a PF, not a PF tree under ESM -> Folders. My next thought is to right click on the "Folders" entitity (that is currently empty) and create a new Public Folder Tree and attempt to associate it with the current PF's, although I don't know how or if it is even possible. Thanks, ...D On 8/2/06, ChongJa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <ChongJa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.msexchange.org > -------------------------------------------------------Ok, I was able to replicate the issue and fix it in my lab. What you need to do is right click your cn=folder heirarchies and click new object msexchpftree. Enter Public Folders as the CN name, click next and click more attributes. Enter the Distinguished name CN=Public Folders,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=Msexchange911,DC=net (substitute your domain) Copy this distinguished name as you will need to paste it into another attribute. Click OK. Now you will need to locate your public folder store in ADSIEDIT. > > Microsoft Exchange -> Org name -> Administrative Groups -> > First Administrative Group -> Servers -> > Server > name -> Information Store -> First Storage Group > 2) On the right pane, go to the properties of the "public folder store". > 3) Select the property to view: "msExchOwningPFTree" and paste that DN from earlier, click OK. Now go into ESM and see if you see your tree. > > > James Chong > Exchange | Administrator > MCSE | M+, S+, MCTS, Security+ > Cell: 703| 206|7548 (work) > Cell: 703| 863|1483 > > chongja@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > ________________________________ > > From: exchangelist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Danny > Sent: Wed 8/2/2006 8:43 PM > To: exchangelist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [ExchangeList] Re: Exchange 2003 SP2 Public folder tree empty > > > > http://www.msexchange.org > -------------------------------------------------------Nothing there. > > On 8/2/06, ChongJa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <ChongJa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > http://www.msexchange.org > > -------------------------------------------------------You don't see the tree or you can't expand?
