You should likely qualify that. The enhanced services depend on how they
access them. If you have a FE server in the mix, the rules are slightly
different.

That doesn't really matter. The answers are: yes, yes, and yes.

If upgrading, then Exchange needs to be upgraded before Windows. If clean
install, Windows needs to be installed before Exchange. :-)

Subject: [exchangelist] Exchange 2000 and 2003 in Same Domain

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hey guys,

If I have an existing Exchange 2000 Server installed on a Windows 2000
Active Directory domain controller, can I install an Exchange 2003 Server on
a Windows Server 2003 Server in the same domain?

If so, can I move user mailboxes from the Exchange 2000 Server to the
Exchange 2003 Server?

If so, can users who have mailboxes on the Exchange 2003 Server access the
enhanced OWA and OMA services on the Exchange 2003 Server?

Thanks!
Tom
