Yep, I am done it quite a few times, and its not that hard, the Chat
server in Exchange 2000 is not the best in the world.
IM is pretty straight forward, check the Microsoft Knowledgebase for
information about configuring it correctly.

Subject: [exchangelist] Chat and Instant Message Services on Exchange

We have Exchange 2000 Enterprise with SP3 on it. I am thinking about
configuring the server for Chat and IM Services.
Has anyone done this, and how difficult was it.
