Hello Carl,

are you speaking about a mailbox that you deleted but which stay on exchange until it's backed up ?

I think exchange will purge it!

Any Exchange-aware backup is designed to run safely without needing to shutdown the store or force users off the system, regardless of the type of backup being done.

So unless there is some other problem going on, there should be a 0.00000% chance of "users inbox being wiped out" due to running a backup.

Hey Guys!

Let’s say you do Incremental backups at few points during the day of the Exchange database.  Now we know that the Incremental backups commit and flush the log files.  Is there a possibility of a users inbox being wiped out as a result of that backup being done??  Any input here is appreciated!! J Thanks!!

Rich
