Hey,
My company is currently using Mail Offline (retrieve mail from ISP and
forward it to relevant users' mailbox on Exchange Server). We use IP Address
instead of Name Server to configure the SMTP, POP3 server for all client
agent. The connection between client and server is normal (ping response
time <1ms). When I restart the server, everything seems to work well around
1h but after that, the Authorizing issue appears again. I've not yet figured
out what's exactly the problems and how to fix it.

Do you have your DNS server configured correctly? Did you install the Exchange MX into it?

http://www.MSExchange.org/
Hi, In recent days, my mail server had some problems, the Authorizing process between the client and server takes so much time, sometimes it exceeds the timeout. My server uses Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Exchange Server 2000, client uses Outlook Express to check mail. If anyone have ever met this problem, tell me how to solve it right. Thanks
