Monday should be a fun morning. We are advertising that we will be open
from 7 until 11:15. I have sent notices to the papers and TV stations, but
have no idea how much they will publicize.
Since it starts at dawn, I am going to start with my solar scope out by the
pond. If you have a solar telescope please feel free to bring it along.
It will be at least an hour before the Sun rises high enough for the main
scope. Once the sun rises high enough we will probably relocate small
scopes to the patio.
Please stop by if you want to help or just view. Based upon the Transit of
Venus we will be busy, but it is hard to guess the crowd.
Thanks again for your volunteering. It should be a fun party. I am open
for brunch after we close.
