Upcoming Public Outreach Events
We have two events this week.
Monday, April 9th is Chandler Gilbert Community College (2626 E Pecos Rd in
Cha deer 85225) from 7:00-9:00 pm. This is a star party for the campus. They
are expecting about 75 people. Nearest cross streets are Gilbert & Pecos.
Setup location is in the north gravel parking lot. Contact is Henry DeJonge.
Saturday, April 14th is Phoenix Zoo Camp (455 N Gavin Pkwy in Phoenix 85008)
from 8:40 to 9:30 pm. This is star gazing for the Critters & Cosmos night
camp at the zoo. They are expecting about 40 people. Nearest cross streets
are Ray & Rural Rd. Zoo personnel will meet us at Gate 3 (south side of the
main parking lot) at about 8:10 pm and escort us to the setup location
(across from the elephants). Contact is Leslie Hawkins.
