This month’s public star party on Friday, August 12th has been canceled.
Various safety issues to the public and equipment have arisen and will be
discussed to adjust to existing conditions at the Riparian Preserve. This is
not a permanent cancellation of the public star parties.
The Sky Watch lecture will still be given with the topic being on the
Osiris-Rex mission that launches in September. The lecture will be held in the
Library at 7:30 pm.
