Subject: Questar Sale Vote

To:

Current (2017) officers and Board

             2018 FYI

This message is to present an offer I have received for the Questar Duplex
donated to EVAC.

I strongly recommend acceptance of the offer.

HISTORY:

We received the donation in 2017.

We attempted to sell the scope at the June auction.

We received no bids at an opening request of $2000.

We asked for initial bids down to $1600  ... still no bids.

We still have the Questar: it was the only large ticket item not to sell.

...............................................................

I have an offer from the Cloudy Nights ad which will net us about $1650.

......................................................................

RECOMMENDATION:

I believe this is a fair offer.

This is a very narrow market.

Buyers are wary and knowledgeable

I believe we should accept this offer.

............................................................................................

VOTING:

I have spoken with Claude and he is in agreement.

EVAC rules say we still need three "Yes'" votes from the current ( 2017 )
officers/board.

.........................................................................................

Awaiting responces

Brooks Scofield

Lame Duck Treasurer of EVAC.
