Upcoming Public Outreach Events
We have two events this week.
Tuesday, November 14th is Chandler Gilbert Community College (2626 E Pecos in
Chandler 85225) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. This will be a star party for the
astronomy students and the rest of the campus. They are expecting about 75
people. Nearest cross streets are Pecos & Gilbert Rd. Setup will be in the
gravel parking lot on the north side of the school. Contact is Henry De Jonge.
Wednesday, November 15th is Cub Scout Pack 77 (at the St John Bosco Catholic
School 16035 S 48th St in Phoenix 85048) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. This will be
star gazing for the cub scouts. They are expecting about 50 people. Nearest
cross streets are S 48th St & Chandler Blvd. Setup location will be on the
basketball courts on the south side of the school. Contact is Dave Forseth.
I can’t make the Cub Scout event so if some would be kind enough to head this
one up I would appreciate it. Let me know and I will send you the contact
