I apologize for any inconvenience. I hope you at least had some good
viewing. The wind gust forecast was just published on Wednesday. We made
a quick call based upon past experience of tents and people's expensive
equipment during really windy conditions. Steady winds of 17-25mph and
gusts of 30-40mph are not good, and if people are aware of them I doubt
many would venture out. Sorry that you were caught in this situation.

As I said in my other reply, we have been clouded and had iffy weather
forecasts in the past but that never caused cancellations. Now I'm sitting
here with a fried, who took vacation to be here, and neither of us can make
it next week.
