Google results for these phrases within quotation marks are:
"remains to be seen" =          118,000,000
"still remains to be seen" =      28,700,000
"still to be seen" =                  22,100,000

I would not take points off for any expression that occurs on the web 22
million times.
I would tell the student that "remains to be seen" occurs about 5 times as
often as "still to be seen".

One of my G students wrote "It is still to be seen" instead of " It
remains to be seen?". Is it correct or do I take points off?
