[etni] oral test

I need an authorized answer:
A student has already been tested on C and D. He doesn't want to take E
this year (He is a 12th grader) nor does he want to take the oral test. He
is planning to take E next year as a graduate.
How is his grade going to be calculated? What happens with the 0 grade in
the oral test? Can he take E next year and skip the oral test so that the
final grade will be the average of the 3 written tests? (He claims he has
consulted an authorized person who told him this way he can skip the oral
test without losing any points - something which I personally doubt.)
