[etni] gifted students in the new lit program ...

in my 11th grade 5 pt class - that is doing the F log this year - there is a
student who is very advanced.
even though the class is on a high level, she is still bored and frustrated
with the work we are doing.
in the past, i have had students like her work  independently, in a workbook
for 11th grade from the states,
that has literature, articles  and writing. i would give them grades on the
lit in the workbook,
without any connection to what the class was doing. but i can't do that now,
with the log and the 7 steps they must
have for each piece of lit.

 what are other schools doing in this situation?
