More details here: www.etai.org.il/summer-2014/ Hope to see you there LEO -- Leo Selivan leoxicon.blogspot.com Date: Mon, 19 May 2014 09:00:39 +0300 Subject: [etni] movies and clips for the lit pieces From: Noel Dunsky <noelbd@xxxxxxxxx> Hi all, Is there a list somewhere of audio-visual materials that are recommended for enriching the students and enabling them to better understand the various lit pieces? If not, how about sharing ideas and coming up with such a list? Many students lack cultural and historical contexts and are always happy to watch another movie. An example for this is the movie "The Joy Luck Club" that perfectly accompanies "Rules of the Game" (one of my personal all-time favorites!) A movie or any related short clip that conveys the main ideas or the theme of the piece can help a great deal, especially to weaker students. Looking forward to hearing from you!
