    In response to the accurate comment:
BTW, The link to dictionaries (I believe from a chozer mankal?) on etni was
not useful in terms of a specific recommendation.
 
My hearing impaired pupils use electronic dictionaries in the classroom every 
day. The information I posted on Etni is relevant to all electronic 
dictionaries. I did not mention specific names because I have not conducted 
official consumer researches (or whatever one does) and base my opinions on 
what I see during the lessons. 
Anyone who is interested in hearing my personal opinion on different brands is

It is important to remember that for different pupils different electronic 
dictionaries are better. one of my pupils has an excellent one but it has too 
many "buttons" for him - he needed the plainer, larger keyboard  one. And so on.
