**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** Hi there: Although I currently live in Kiryat Ono, Israel, I am a British-born, American grandfather to five Israeli grandchildren to whom I recently introduced your web site on Geocities for the teaching of English. I cannot thank you enough for taking the trouble to set up that site, which I noted on this list some weeks ago. In short, it has done wonders for the children. For the benefit of anyone else who is interested, the site is: www.geocities.com/hilaaknin18 In fact, their father has had to promise that he will have a separate computer and Internet connection for them to use in the future so that they don't interfere with his own use of the computer. Not only do the kids love to click the mouse to move around the screen but having the sound come through on the earphones is an exquisite idea and is, in my opinion, very helpful in learning the pronunciation of the words. It is true that the kids now sometimes fight over who gets to use the computer first but I am convinced that eventually they will come to a peaceful agreement and each one will benefit from your exquisite contribution. I will certainly recommend the site to everyone I know who has children that need such a site for learning the English language.
