Hi all,

Recently, we have been given scores of books that were otherwise
headed for the trash bin: EFL books which - over time - have been
considered obsolete by many.

Many of these books only first appeared a relatively short time ago.
(There is room here for an interesting discussion as to what makes
a book obsolete, but that will come at a different time.)

Sometime in the future we plan to create an "EFL book museum",
tracing the development of EFL books in Israel - which will also cast
an interesting light on the development of EFL in this country.
This will also be a "virtual museum".

But for now - we want to talk about a specific idea that arose when
looking through these piles of books:

ETNI plans to hold
"The Greatest EFL Book of Modern Times" -
competition.

(By modern times, we mean - as far back as the oldest member of
the ETNI list can relate to.)

What makes the greatest EFL book of all times?
This is for each of you to individually decide.

We have set up a form at -

http://www.boker.org.il/eng/etni/eflgreatest.htm

- where you can vote for the book of your choice.
In order to ensure that each person only votes once,
you will be asked to identify yourself when voting (name and email).
At the end of the voting process - December 15 - we will announce the
happy winner.
